Weekly Planning Tips
Updated: Aug 23, 2021
The topic of planning gets me super excited! I love all things stationary, notebooks, pens, highlighters, post it's, anything colour coded is amazing! This week on my socials I am going through planning a week. Planning meals, date nights, time with kids and family time. I would love for you to join me either in my private facebook group, Level Up - Mums or on Instagram.
I have always been a planner, but having 4 kids has meant I have needed to level up my planning skills! On Sunday afternoons Hubby and I will sit down and plan out the week. This helps us know what the other is up to, be on the same page, who is busy when, and what needs to be done and when.

The number one priority, and the first thing that goes into the diary is date nights. We decided many years ago, that we would make our marriage a priority so it can grow into something awesome.
We aim for a minimum of 2 nights per week. And one of those includes dinner together after the kids are in bed. The next thing to add into our weekly planning time is meals and family dinners. We believe family meal times are super important to foster a sense of belonging, so we try and have as many as possible. We discuss the kids and their needs, and if any of them could do with some extra time with either mum or dad in the coming week. Then everything else goes in and we have a quick look through the week and share relevant info with the kids during our family meeting. It has taken us years to get to the point where this is a habit, but it is working well for us and our family. How do you plan for the week? Let me know! And don't forget to join me on my socials this week! Nina x
